Our client, Locatel Nordic A/S is a leading provider of communication & entertainment systems for the hotel & hospitality industry. You will be working in the European sales
organization that supports the Nordics & Baltics.
In order to support the continued growth of installations to the Marine industry, you will be handling business development
activities working with basis in an innovative environment.
You will report to the VP Sales Europe (Paris, France) and will be locally supported by your Danish colleagues from the technical and operations department. You will furthermore have a close cooperation with the R&D team. The position is on a permanent basis and is located in Taastrup, Denmark (Copenhagen area).
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will manage the direct sales activities to Operators and Cruise lines as well as distributors and partners in the region. You will furthermore drive the project completion in cooperation with the Project Management and Technical support team.
Your main tasks will involve:
Sales activities
o Newbizz & KAM (direct sales and partnerships) strategic selling
o Participate in industry specific exhibitions & fairs
Business development
o Collect and report market information and sales activities about the business to HQ, as well as identify new areas
o Create and implement marketing initiatives that will support sales targets
Project Management
o Support to customer during projects and installations in cooperation with technical team
In order to reach the ambitious goals you will have a clear focus on solution selling and customer orientation, from pre-sales to completion of installations. This will include reporting of revenue and performance, as well as monitoring of the market (competitors).
You will have solid technical back-up and know-how in your local team, as well as in the European organization that will ensure your product training and support. You should expect extensive travel activities within the Nordics as well as European countries.
Qualifications and Work Experience
You have a technical or commercial education, supplemented with experience in a sales function. Experience with technical solutions such as network solutions, communication or IT solutions are the ideal profile.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and with your systematic approach you can combine sales activities with project management. You are able to identify business
opportunities and have the ability to adapt technical solutions to client demands on a strong competitive market. You furthermore show the ability to visualize complex technical solutions and to inspire your clients to new business areas.
You are characterized by taking initiatives and being a ?self-starter?, a strong communicator and a team player. You have the mindset and English language skills (orally and written) to operate in an international environment.
